Round Table on Yuri Gagarin’s flight 50th anniversary in Star City, April 2011
Prof. V.G. Gurzadyan reviewed the impact of spaceflights on fundamental science and the achievements of researchers of Armenia in early years of space astronomy at the Round table in Star City (Zvezdnij gorodok), near Moscow.
Delegation of Armenian Republic was participating in the activities devoted to the 50th anniversary of the flight of Yuri Gagarin. Armenian Ambassador to Russia O.Esayan was present at the event. In Star City the delegation had meetings with the officials of the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, cosmonauts, spacecraft designers, visited Space Control Center in Korolyov city.
