The cooperation involved SKB LOMO (development and production of two telescopes and a number of instruments) and RSC Energia (creation of the CHROMOS satellite and ensuring its precise triaxial stabilization within 0.5 arcsec).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">The Space Astrophysical Observatory <strong>CHROMOS<\/strong> was supposed to be a cluster of four (later of three) wide-field telescopes: LT-1 (LTA), LT-2 (DSS), OS and DS (DSL) with entrance diameters: 700 mm for LT-1 and LT- 2, 350 mm for OS and DS. The purposes of these telescopes were:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">obtain direct photographic images of the starry sky in ultraviolet radiation at the center of wavelength 2000 (LT-1);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">obtain ultraviolet spectral images with extremely high resolution (0.3 A) for many hundreds of stars simultaneously (LT-2, DS);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">record continuous images of faint stars, galaxies, nebulae, etc. in the ultraviolet spectrum (OS):<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">use wide size films (220 mm) for LT-1 and LT-2, medium size films (110 mm) and CCD for OS and DS.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table style=\"border-collapse:
