It included the news conference with participation of officials of Italian Parliament, Italian Space Agency, COSPAR, ELV (contractor for the VEGA launcher rocket), La Sapienza and Salento Universities. The Lectio Magistralis was given by Sir Roger Penrose. The scientific program included talks by experts on space geodesy, aerospace engineering and astrophysics and theoretical physics linked to the aims of the LARES space mission. Prof. V.
